Customers Responsibility 

Customers’ Responsibilities - Once water leaves our water main, its safe delivery becomes the customer's responsibility.   This means that customers are responsible for their water service lateral, as well as the plumbing inside the home.   The customer must protect the water meter from freezing or being damaged, etc..   If the water meter must be replaced due to freezing, damage, and or theft, the customer must purchase a new water meter from the Authority and pay for said installation.  The Authority is only responsible for the water meter and curb stop.
